Jonathan Harker, an estate agent in Wismar, travels to Transylvania, leaving his young wife Lucy behind at home, to sell a house in Wismar to Count Dracula. The Count immediately agrees to purchase the Wismar property after he sees a small portrait of Harkes wife. He travels to Wismar by boat while more and more terrifying events occur.
