1919, a castle, a count. The aristocrat proposes to all his guests a unique experience, which puts everyone in a state of permanent happiness. The experience turns into a tragedy. 1982, same castle. Architects and sociologists are attending a conference which theme is how to raise imagination. The conference is a total disaster. At the same time, children are making up a fairy tale in which a Prince fights against a tyrant, bringing happiness back to his people. This is the story about the inevitable failure of idealism in a world of fallible human beings.
